Company overview: Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) is a field data collection company founded in 2017 in Europe. We gather information where automation cannot reach by counting features, taking photos, recording video and audio, and scanning areas to provide detailed data for decision-making. Our field teams operate across Europe and North America and take on diverse mapping challenges.

Role overview

We are looking for reliable, safety-focused professional drivers to support a large-scale mapping data collection project. Selected drivers will operate client-provided vehicles equipped with specialized mapping equipment to gather high-quality street-level data within assigned zones. The position requires strong driving skills, technical awareness, independent work capability and close coordination with field coordinators. Travel and extended hotel-based assignments away from home are required.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate client-provided vehicles fitted with mapping and data collection equipment.
• Collect mapping data within assigned zones efficiently and following project guidelines.
• Handle, protect and maintain all client-provided vehicles, devices and equipment, keeping them clean and in basic working order.
• Research and identify safe local parking locations to ensure vehicle and equipment security; securely park, cover and safeguard the vehicle daily.
• Report and manage incidents (including traffic accidents and public interactions) professionally.
• Coordinate daily activities, assignments and issue resolution with the Camp Coordinator and communicate technical, mechanical or operational issues promptly.
• Meet daily and weekly delivery targets in collaboration with project coordinators.
• Travel long distances as required and work in "hotel mode" during assignments.
• Maintain accurate inventory and device logs in the designated system or application.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of driving experience and at least 2 years of professional driving experience (e.g., taxi, delivery, logistics, courier).
• Good command of English.
• Experience driving larger vehicles (vans, trucks) is strongly preferred.
• Defensive, calm and safety-oriented driving style; comfortable driving in high-traffic and stressful conditions (e.g., rush hour).
• Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation tools and good knowledge of local roads, neighborhoods and traffic patterns in the working country.
• Polite, professional and respectful demeanor when interacting with the public.
• Basic technical and mechanical knowledge (e.g., changing tires, reading vehicle gauges).

Requisiti
