Join the team behind stories that reach millions. As a PR, Publicity & Communication Intern at The Walt Disney Company, you will gain practical exposure to PR and communications within the entertainment sector.
About the role
This entry-level internship places you at the heart of the Public Relations and Communications team, where you will receive hands-on experience in media and entertainment communications. You will operate under supervision, follow defined processes and help deliver core PR activities while building foundational skills.
Key responsibilities
- Provide general day-to-day support to the PR & Communications team.
- Assist in preparing press releases and coordinate with external agencies on content-related communications.
- Help create internal materials such as decks, presentations, fact sheets, translations and dossiers.
- Follow up on ad-hoc material requests from EMEA and the US.
- Prepare presentations and media coverage reports.
- Perform analysis and coverage reporting using internal tools.
- Monitor daily media clippings, analyse coverage and manage tracking.
- Support organisation of external events (e.g., junkets, tours, premieres and activities).
Preferred qualifications
- Strong interest in learning about cinema, television, entertainment and the media business.
- Proactive, dynamic and versatile, with a collaborative team attitude.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint and Canva.
- Previous internships or experience in PR, communications or events are an advantage.
- Degree in Cinema & Audiovisual, Communication or Marketing.
- Fluent in English.
