Getinge Italia is seeking a Product Manager SW (Surgical Workflow) to lead and grow the product line across Italy. In this strategic, field-oriented role you will act as the link between customers, market, sales teams and internal stakeholders to drive business performance and market adoption.
Key responsibilities
- Promote products through on-site demonstrations and direct customer interactions.
- Train and support the sales force across the full sales cycle.
- Localize and implement global marketing strategies and develop a local marketing plan aligned with business objectives.
- Support new product launches and foster successful market adoption.
- Represent the company at congresses, conferences and industry events.
- Collaborate with international teams to exchange insights and best practices.
- Prepare and manage technical documentation for public tenders and ensure compliant, timely submissions.
- Define product configurations together with sales and coordinate with internal departments.
Market analysis & business performance
- Monitor market trends, competitors and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Track product-line performance and contribute to forecasting.
- Support pricing strategy within global guidelines.
Product scope: Surgical Workflow capital equipment (e.g. operating tables and surgical lights).
Territory: Nationwide (Italy), including Sardinia.
Location & travel: Home-based role with expected residence in the Milan area (Cinisello Balsamo office available, presence not mandatory). The position requires frequent travel and regular overnight stays (on average 2 nights per week).
Candidate profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Product Management role.
- Experience in the operating room environment is a strong plus.
- Fluent Italian and professional level English (written and spoken).
- Strong marketing and product-positioning skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams, customer-oriented mindset and strong business acumen.
- Analytical and strategic thinker, highly organized, proactive, adaptable and hands-on.
- High energy, resilience, strong interpersonal skills and a positive work ethic.

Requisiti
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Biomedical Engineering or related field; minimum 3 years in a similar Product Management role; Italian fluent and professional English; residence in/near Milan area preferred; availability for frequent travel with ~2 overnight stays per week; experience in OR environment is a strong plus.
