Position summary
Kitchen Support staff assist multiple hotel functions, including kitchen, pastry, food & beverage and employee dining, providing cleaning services and basic preparation to help daily operations run smoothly.
Main responsibilities
- Prepare and ensure availability of fresh, clean linens and spotless dining ware for guests.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools (for example dishwashing machines and hand-wash stations).
- Transport dishware and related items across the property as required.
- Provide basic kitchen preparation and support wherever needed; perform additional reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Safety, standards and conduct
Follow all company, safety and security policies and procedures; promptly report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions to management. Complete any required safety training and certifications. Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance, protect company assets and preserve confidentiality of proprietary information. Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards and communicate clearly and professionally. Build and maintain positive working relationships and support the team to meet common goals while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Physical requirements
Tasks may require standing, sitting or walking for extended periods and reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling and stooping. Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing 25 pounds or less without assistance.

- Education: No high school diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Related work experience: No related experience required.
