GETINGE ITALIA is seeking a Product Manager SW (Surgical Workflow) to cover Italy (M/F/D).
About the role
As Product Manager you will be instrumental in the success of your product line, acting as the strategic link between the market, customers, sales and internal stakeholders. You will directly influence business growth, customer satisfaction and market positioning. The position is field-centered and home-office based, requiring close proximity to customers and the market.
Key responsibilities
- Marketing & product strategy: promote the product via field demonstrations and customer engagement; train and support the sales team across the sales cycle; localize and implement global marketing plans; develop and execute local marketing activities aligned with business goals; support launches to secure market adoption; represent the company at congresses, conferences and industry events; collaborate with international teams to exchange insights and best practices.
- Tender management: prepare and manage technical documentation for public tenders; define product configurations together with sales; coordinate internal departments to ensure timely, compliant submissions.
- Market analysis & business performance: monitor market trends, competitors and customer needs; identify growth opportunities and adjust strategies; track product line performance and support forecasting; assist pricing strategy within global guidelines.
Scope & environment
- Product scope: Surgical Workflow capital equipment (e.g., operating tables and surgical lights).
- Territory: Nationwide coverage of Italy, including Sardinia.
- Location: Home-based role with expected residence in the Milan area (Cinisello Balsamo office is available but presence is not mandatory).
- Travel: regular daily travel with frequent overnight stays (on average about 2 nights per week).
Candidate profile
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: minimum 3 years in a similar Product Management role; experience in the operating room environment is a strong advantage.
- Languages: native/fluent Italian and professional-level English (written and spoken).
