Position summary

Role overview: Carry out electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, painting, carpentry and general building maintenance to ensure the hotel is fully operational and impeccable for guests.

Basic requirements: strong command of the Italian language, a solid work ethic and good problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

Required:

1. Thorough knowledge of the hotel’s fixtures and fittings.
2. Good understanding of security devices installed in the property.

Desirable:

1. Basic knowledge of English.
2. Familiarity with at least one of the following areas: electrical systems, hydraulics or air conditioning.

Primary responsibilities

1. Perform routine maintenance according to the scheduled plan.
2. Carry out daily, weekly and monthly checklist verifications.
3. Clean air conditioning filters regularly.
4. Maintain and repair all hotel facilities including electrical, hydraulic and HVAC systems.
5. Coordinate and manage hotel suppliers.
6. Oversee hotel warehouses and inventory related to maintenance.
7. Handle ordinary room maintenance tasks (e.g. replace bulbs, repair furniture and fittings, fix washbasins) to ensure rooms are immaculate for guests and provide assistance to hotel staff when needed.

Requisiti

Fluent Italian, hardworking with problem-solving skills; good knowledge of hotel fixtures and security devices. Desirable: basic English and experience in electrical, hydraulic or air conditioning systems. Availability to work 24/7 shifts.
