Position summary: Serve food courses and alcoholic drinks to guests, prepare tables according to the event and service standards, and respond to menu inquiries. Communicate with the kitchen about menu items, wait times, re-cooks, availability and any special meal requirements such as allergies or dietary needs. Record orders in the MICROS point-of-sale system when taken, present accurate bills and process payments.

Maintain the cleanliness of workstations, dishware and glassware throughout the shift and complete closing tasks such as restocking supplies and turning off lights. Regularly check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and beverage, welcome and acknowledge guests following company standards, anticipate service needs, assist guests with disabilities and thank them sincerely.

Follow all company safety and security procedures, report accidents, injuries or unsafe conditions to the manager, and complete any required safety training or certifications. Keep uniform and personal appearance clean and professional, protect confidential information and safeguard company assets. Build positive working relationships, support colleagues to reach team goals and respond appropriately to coworkers’ concerns. Meet the company’s quality expectations and standards.

Physical and operational requirements: Read and visually verify information in different formats (including small print). Be able to stand, sit or walk for long periods or an entire shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and heavier items with help. Manipulate objects that require fine motor skills and coordination. Move safely over sloping, uneven or slippery surfaces and on stairs or service ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting and stooping. Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Requisiti

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. At least 1 year of related work experience. No supervisory experience required. English language required. Must be able to meet physical demands listed and complete safety training and certifications.
