We are looking for an Operations Project Management Specialist to join our team in Tognana / Piove di Sacco (Padova), Italy. The role acts as the Global Logistics Program Manager responsible for a multi-year redesign and rollout of the company’s global logistics network, leading large-scale transformation to improve delivery speed, cost, quality and environmental performance across international operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, launch and manage a multi-year, multi-geography global logistics network redesign program to enable new capabilities, cost efficiency and scalable growth.
  • Define program frameworks and roadmaps evaluating trade-offs (quality, speed, cost, carbon intensity) and convert strategy into actionable project plans.
  • Lead global teams and stakeholders to review, design and implement network changes (new sites, transport modes, suppliers, automation).
  • Establish program governance, clear objectives, project controls and risk management for each work stream.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, IT, Procurement and Sales at global and regional levels.
  • Supervise data-driven network analysis to identify root causes, improve delivery quality and introduce automation or digital solutions where appropriate.
  • Monitor progress with KPIs and dashboards, providing transparent reporting to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with timelines and budgets, proactively managing risks and dependencies.
  • Drive continuous improvement, benchmarking best practices and new technologies, and support cultural change and knowledge transfer within the logistics community.

Requirements

  • University degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in global logistics, network design or large-scale supply chain transformations.
  • Proven record managing complex, multi-year programs with global scope and significant business impact.
  • Advanced program management expertise (certification preferred) and strong capability in governance, controls and reporting.
  • Experience in data analysis, logistics modelling and digital solutions (automation, AI, optimization tools).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with ability to influence across geographies and functions.
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are highly advantageous.
