We are recruiting on behalf of a leading international company active in the renewable energy sector, specialized in innovative biomethane upgrading solutions. As a Field Service Technician you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of biomethane plants and will follow a structured onboarding program to take charge of a dedicated customer portfolio in your region, building long-term relationships and becoming their trusted technical contact.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective and scheduled maintenance on biomethane upgrading plants.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and process-related issues.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, instrumentation, sensors, actuators and field devices.
• Service compressors, pumps, valves and other industrial equipment.
• Support plant commissioning, upgrades and activities aimed at performance optimization.
• Complete digital service reports and maintain technical documentation.
• Plan and prepare spare parts and materials needed for scheduled maintenance.
• Provide technical support to customers while collaborating closely with the Service Manager and technical support teams.

Requirements

• Technical qualification or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• Previous experience in industrial maintenance or field service.
• Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs, variable frequency drives, instrumentation and process control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Customer-oriented mindset and excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to travel (on average up to about 10 overnight stays per month).
• Valid driver's license and legal authorization to work in the country.

Salary and additional information

RAL: €35,000–€55,000.
