Bluserena began with a seaside hotel and has grown into an international group that operates 13 four- and five-star hotels and resorts, conference centres and the Ethra Thalasso SPA across Sardinia, Puglia, Sicily, Calabria, Abruzzo and Piedmont. The Group offers about 4,200 rooms and employs around 2,500 people at peak season, aiming to deliver memorable holiday experiences while respecting the territories that host them.
Role summary
You will act as Head of Digital Marketing & Growth, reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communication, owning the Group’s digital vision and leading acquisition, conversion, engagement and loyalty strategies to drive commercial performance and improve the end-to-end digital customer experience. The position is based at the Group Headquarters in Pescara (Abruzzo), with the possibility of remote work according to company policy. The role is full-time and permanent.
Key responsibilities
- Define and lead the Group’s digital growth strategy in line with business, revenue and brand objectives.
- Manage the full guest lifecycle: awareness, acquisition, booking, engagement, retention and loyalty.
- Oversee digital channels including SEO, SEM, Paid Social, Display, Metasearch, Email Marketing and Affiliate.
- Plan, execute and optimise full-funnel media and performance investments; monitor KPIs such as direct revenue, ROAS, conversion rate, CAC, lead generation, brand visibility and ROI.
- Supervise website, booking engine, UX and CRO, and the wider digital customer journey.
- Identify new acquisition channels and growth opportunities.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across performance marketing, CRM, loyalty, analytics and digital experience, and manage relationships with external agencies and partners.
- Collaborate with Revenue Management, Sales, Operations and Brand teams to align commercial priorities with digital initiatives.
- Lead CRM and loyalty strategies using segmentation, personalisation, customer profiling, customer value frameworks and data activation; support CRM and Loyalty Coordinators in campaign development.
- Drive analysis and customer insight through dashboards, reporting, surveys and UX research.
- Promote a customer-centric, data-driven culture and lead digital transformation and enablement initiatives.
- Oversee budget planning, forecasting, governance and execution quality across digital platforms.
Requirements & qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience in leadership roles within digital marketing.
- Proven record of driving digital revenue growth and customer acquisition strategies.
- Strong expertise in performance marketing, CRM, marketing automation and digital analytics.
- Deep understanding of customer journeys, conversion optimisation and digital product evolution.
- Experience managing and developing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating external agencies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to operate in complex, dynamic and transformational environments with a customer-centric approach.
- Experience in hospitality, travel, leisure or consumer-driven industries is a strong plus.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
Compensation & equal opportunity
The annual gross salary (RAL) range is €50,000 – €60,000, with final placement determined by objective assessment of skills and experience. Minimum 8 years in digital marketing leadership; proven experience in driving digital revenue and acquisition; strong skills in performance marketing, CRM/marketing automation, analytics, UX/CRO; team and agency management; fluency in Italian and English; hospitality experience preferred.
