About the role

Four Seasons Hotel Firenze is looking for passionate, service-focused Chef de Rang to join the team for the 2026 summer season. Positions are available at Il Palagio (breakfast service) and at Al Fresco Trattoria (dinner service). The Chef de Rang will ensure exceptional dining experiences by delivering attentive, professional food and beverage service, guiding guests through menu choices and anticipating their needs to create memorable moments aligned with luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver an enjoyable dining experience through high-quality, professional and friendly service.
• Anticipate and respond promptly to guest needs and requests; offer suitable suggestions.
• Clear and reset tables following the hotel's service standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in food service, preferably in a luxury environment.
• Outgoing personality with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Strong knowledge of food and wine.
• Proficiency with the Micros operating system.
• Fluency in English and Italian.
• Work authorization for Italy required at the time of application.

Schedule & contract

This is a full-time, seasonal position with shift work that includes weekends and bank holidays. The role is classified at the C2 level of the Tourism Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL), with a starting gross annual salary aligned to the contract minimums and opportunities for growth based on experience.

Requisiti

+2 years of food service experience (preferably in luxury hospitality); outgoing, can-do attitude; strong food & wine knowledge; Micros OS proficiency; fluency in English and Italian; work authorization for Italy at application.
