As part of the W Hotels collection within Marriott International, the hotel seeks a creative and commercially driven Marketing Manager to raise the property’s profile, increase brand awareness and support revenue objectives with innovative, brand-aligned marketing.
Position summary
The Marketing Manager will plan and implement the hotel’s annual marketing and communications strategy, ensuring consistency with brand standards while driving awareness, engagement and commercial results across market segments. The role leads integrated campaigns, the hotel’s digital footprint, public relations, partnerships, content production and local activations that position W Florence as a top luxury lifestyle destination.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver the annual Marketing Plan aligned with hotel goals and Marriott brand guidelines.
- Design and run initiatives that firmly establish W Florence as a luxury lifestyle destination.
- Identify market opportunities, trends and competitive insights to support revenue growth and visibility.
- Work closely with Sales, Revenue Management, Operations and regional Marriott teams to ensure marketing supports commercial objectives.
Digital marketing & e‑commerce
- Manage the hotel’s digital ecosystem: website content, Marriott channels, social media and third‑party partners.
- Lead digital campaigns including SEO/SEM, email marketing and performance marketing activities.
- Monitor campaign performance and deliver analyses with optimisation recommendations.
- Ensure consistent brand voice and visuals across all digital and guest‑facing channels.
Public relations & partnerships
- Build and maintain relationships with media, influencers, luxury brands, tourism bodies and local stakeholders.
- Coordinate PR activities, media visits, influencer collaborations and press events.
- Seek strategic partnerships that boost brand visibility and guest engagement.
Content & brand experience
- Oversee content production: photography, video, social storytelling and marketing materials.
- Support the creation of signature experiences, activations and events consistent with W Hotels DNA.
- Guarantee all communications reflect the brand’s distinctive voice and visual identity.
Budget & performance management
- Manage the annual marketing budget and allocate resources efficiently.
- Track and report key marketing KPIs, campaign performance and ROI.
- Provide regular insights and reports to hotel leadership and Marriott stakeholders.
Candidate profile — experience & qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of marketing experience in luxury hospitality, lifestyle brands, luxury retail, fashion or premium consumer sectors.
- Experience in an international luxury hotel environment is highly preferred; Marriott International experience is a strong advantage.
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related field.
- Proven success in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns.

- Strong understanding of luxury consumer behaviour and lifestyle branding.
- Advanced digital marketing and social media expertise.
- Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills.
- Creative mindset paired with strong analytical and commercial acumen.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment and build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian is highly desirable.
Compensation
Indicative gross annual salary range: €40,000 – €42,000, dependent on local and international experience and overall profile.

Requisiti
Minimum 4 years of marketing experience in luxury hospitality or related premium brands; degree in Marketing/Communications/Business/Hospitality or similar; proven track record with integrated campaigns. Marriott experience preferred. Fluent English; Italian highly desirable.
