Role summary: As a Principal Product Manager (Technical) you will own and develop account-related capabilities that support both growth and user safety for all user segments. You will design and deliver complex user experiences for age assurance, parental controls and passwordless authentication, while ensuring regulatory compliance and protecting young users.

  • Own and develop account-related features that drive growth and user safety.
  • Design and implement complex user flows for age assurance, parental controls, and passwordless authentication.
  • Ensure compliance with global safety and health regulations including COPPA, GDPR-Age and the UK Age Appropriate Design Code, as well as emerging legislation.
  • Lead strategy for age verification and minor protection features, establishing the standard for protecting young users.
  • Balance user friction and data collection to optimize safety outcomes while supporting platform growth.
  • Drive platform health through account management decisions impacting millions of users.
  • Collaborate closely with community product, design, engineering, legal, policy, trust & safety, and data teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable product requirements and elegant user experiences.

Basic qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 8+ years of product management experience, including at least 4 years focused on trust & safety, community health, or user protection products at consumer platforms (time spent as an engineer can count toward PM experience).
  • Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and feature delivery, making product tradeoffs.
  • Technical product management experience and a proven record building authentication systems, content moderation tools, user protection features, or community health products at scale.
  • Deep understanding of online safety regulations and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities: platform growth, user trust, safety needs, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives involving policy, legal, trust & safety, and community health teams.
  • Strong communication skills with senior leadership.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working directly with engineers on product enhancements.

Requisiti

Bachelor’s degree; 8+ years of product management experience with at least 4 years focused on trust & safety, community health, or user protection at consumer platforms; proven experience building authentication, moderation or user protection systems at scale; deep knowledge of online safety regulations across jurisdictions; strong ability to balance growth, trust, safety and compliance; experience leading complex multi-stakeholder initiatives and communicating with senior leadership.
