D-Orbit is a company founded in 2011 that develops solutions for space logistics and transportation. We are looking for a Product Manager for an Avionics product to join the Technology Business Unit and report to the Senior Product Manager. The role is focused on delivering an avionics system through successful industrialization, meeting cost and quality targets, and optimizing the product through its full lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
- Product delivery, strategy & roadmap: deliver the assigned product on time, on budget and with the required quality; maintain product vision, strategy and roadmap for the avionics system; align development with company goals and customer needs; identify and mitigate development and deployment risks.
- Industrialization & lifecycle management: support product industrialization including definition of production and testing equipment; manage the full product lifecycle, covering upgrades, obsolescence planning and end-of-life strategies.
- Cost & budget management: ensure cost targets via design-to-cost and supplier coordination; monitor and control product development budget during development.
- Cross-functional coordination: collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and quality teams to ensure compliance and performance; act as the interface between technical teams and stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.
Requirements
- Experience in product development, industrialization and lifecycle management.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Analytical mindset, proactive attitude and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.
- Deep knowledge of AI tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of avionics systems, aerospace or complex electromechanical products is a plus.
- Background in engineering.
- Experience managing hardware/software integrated products.
- Previous involvement in cross-functional teams and supplier negotiations.

Some tasks must be done at company facilities while many can be performed remotely; performance is evaluated on outcomes rather than office hours.
