Davines Group, founded in Parma in 1983, develops professional cosmetics under the brands Davines (haircare) and [ comfort zone ] (skincare). Job mission
We are looking for motivated candidates to contribute to the growth of our Haircare Division while upholding our values of beauty, ethics and sustainability. As Jr Product Manager, you will report to the Senior Brand Manager and, depending on seniority, either support the Brand Manager on some activities or take direct ownership of specific tasks to ensure the competitiveness of the assigned brand/category in line with company standards and sustainable values.
What you will do
- Define business plans and estimate business potential for new products, product families or brands to obtain project approvals.
- Create detailed product briefs for design and development.
- Manage product development, collaborating closely with all involved departments.
- Support definition of the marketing mix for each new product/family/brand, including value proposition, key claims and price positioning.
- Identify and produce the communication assets needed to position brands/products across channels in collaboration with the Brand Communication team.
- Produce and manage all marketing deliverables for new launches (e.g. in-salon communication, product dossier).
- Create and deliver presentations using impactful techniques.
- Manage brand-related budgets and routine business activities (samples, mock-ups, shoot support, supplier relations).
- Analyze competitors and customer insights.
- Analyze sales forecasts and related financials and report on product sales.
- Understand product specifics (formulation, packaging, production) through development projects and on-the-field shadowing.
Who you are
- Previous marketing experience in a similar environment; experience in haircare/cosmetics is a plus.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing, Economics or related fields.
- Brand awareness and solid knowledge of the marketing mix.
- Basic business acumen and understanding of cross-functional product development processes.
- Clear knowledge of Go-to-Market processes and ability to coordinate development activities engaging internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluent English is mandatory; knowledge of Italian is required.
- Collaborative, team-building and proactive attitude when facing ambiguity, with strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Hands-on approach, determination, perseverance, results orientation and an ownership mindset.
