Getinge Italia is looking for a Product Manager SW (Surgical Workflow) to support and grow its product line across Italy. This is a field-oriented, home-based role requiring close proximity to customers and markets, with an expected residence in the Milan area (Cinisello Balsamo office available but not mandatory).
Key responsibilities include:
- Promote products through field demonstrations and direct customer interactions.
- Train and support the sales force throughout the sales cycle.
- Adapt and implement global marketing strategies locally and develop/execute the local marketing plan aligned with business objectives.
- Support new product launches to ensure successful market adoption.
- Represent Getinge at congresses, conferences and industry events.
- Collaborate with international teams to share insights and best practices.
- Prepare and manage technical documentation for public tenders and define product configurations with sales.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and compliant submissions.
- Monitor market trends, competitors and customer needs, identify growth opportunities and support forecasting and pricing within global guidelines.
Product scope: Surgical Workflow capital equipment (e.g., operating tables and surgical lights). Territory: Nationwide (Italy), including Sardinia. Travel: frequent daily travel with overnight stays (on average 2 nights per week).
Profile:
- Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar Product Management role; experience in the operating room environment is a strong plus.
- Languages: Fluent Italian and professional-level English (written and spoken).
- Strong marketing and product positioning skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, and the capacity to influence cross-functional teams.
- Customer-oriented mindset with business acumen, analytical and strategic thinking, highly organized, proactive and adaptable.
- Dynamic, hands-on attitude, strong interpersonal skills, high energy and resilience in a demanding, fast-paced environment, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
