Role purpose: As a senior leader within Unilever Food Solutions Italy, you will convert business strategy into disciplined commercial execution to deliver profitable growth across channels and customers. You will report to the UFS Head of Country and act as the central coordinator for the commercial agenda, overseeing sales planning, forecasting, pricing and mix strategy, trade investment governance and promotional effectiveness. The role is part of the UFS leadership team and ensures alignment between Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and Customer Development while supporting the PUSH agenda and the rollout of the PULL growth model.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the annual commercial planning process and manage the sales execution framework.
- Own S&OP and forecasting, ensuring demand, supply and commercial priorities are aligned.
- Drive Net Revenue Management across pricing, portfolio transformation, mix management, promotion optimisation and trade investment governance.
- Develop customer and channel strategies to maximise profitable growth and ROI.
- Use sell-out insights to shape customer plans, optimise promotions and support sustainable profitable growth.
- Lead commercial performance reviews, identify growth opportunities and ensure accountability for results.
- Enable the sales organisation via advanced analytics, dashboards, business insights and decision-support tools.
- Govern commercial investments to secure disciplined execution and optimal resource allocation.
- Drive cross-functional alignment to guarantee flawless execution of business priorities and accelerate growth.
- Support innovation and renovation through strong commercial activation and execution excellence.
- Build capabilities and processes to improve commercial effectiveness, route-to-market performance and customer profitability.
Key requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in Net Revenue Management (NRM) and Trade Marketing Investment (TMI) within the FMCG industry.
- Proven experience in forecasting, commercial planning and execution.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills (Power BI, Microsoft Excel) and the ability to turn data into actionable route-to-market recommendations.
- Strong leadership and the ability to influence, collaborate with and manage diverse stakeholders and customers.
- Interest in the Food industry and a results-oriented, collaborative and inclusive approach.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in Foods, Beverages or Out of Home.
- Exposure to sales or distribution channels.
- Ability to use AI or analytical programming.
- International educational or professional experience.
- Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing or related field.
Additional information
The role is based in the Uffici di Roma. Employment terms: full-time permanent under the Food Industry collective labour agreement (CNEL Code E012). Salary range: €51,200 – €70,400 gross per year. As part of a global organisation you will be eligible for the annual bonus plan, based on business results and individual performance, and for the Annual Shares Plan according to company policy.
Tools provided: PC. Limited travel to customers is foreseen by the role. The final compensation and contractual level will be defined based on candidate experience, skills and seniority and aligned with internal equity principles. Please submit your application in English.

Requisiti
Minimum 5 years in NRM and TMI within FMCG; proven forecasting and commercial planning experience; strong analytical skills (Power BI, Excel); leadership and stakeholder management; interest in Food industry; fluency in Italian and English.
