Overview
As a Product Manager at Quicke you will be responsible for driving the commercial success of products across their entire life cycle. You will act as a product champion internally and work closely with customers and other stakeholders to ensure the product portfolio meets market needs.
Your role will require strong teamwork and project management skills to align R&D and Sales & Marketing colleagues with a clear sense of purpose and urgency. Responsibilities include initiating new concepts, defining product requirements that guide development projects, launching new products, shaping and executing product strategy, supporting revenue generation through the sales team and managing product obsolescence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop deep expertise in the market landscape, competitive environment and customer needs to steer strategic direction and product positioning for sustainable growth.
- Create and execute product launch plans in close collaboration with Sales & Marketing.
- Define product positioning, value propositions and value-based sales arguments together with Sales & Marketing to strengthen market impact.
- Track the performance of newly launched products and evaluate recent initiatives to ensure continuous improvement.
- Contribute actively to new product development and related strategic projects.
- Represent market needs and work closely with the sales organization and customers to improve product offerings, follow-up activities, sales and profitability.
- Support sales-related strategic tasks such as campaign development and customer recommendations.
- Ensure strong cross-functional coordination between OEM customers, R&D, purchasing, production sites and sales teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field or equivalent experience, with 2-4 years of product management experience.
- Prior experience and solid understanding of the agriculture and farming industry.
- Strong knowledge of marketing principles, product lifecycle management, product positioning and financial analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, able to tailor materials to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills, flexibility and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and strong Excel skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
