Your role
- Lead and supervise all construction activities for a major Oil & Gas project for Mellitah, ensuring safe, efficient and timely execution.
- Act as the primary construction focal point between the Client, EPC contractors, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual obligations, quality standards and HSE regulations throughout the construction phase.
- Support project delivery by coordinating multidisciplinary construction activities and managing field execution risks.
Your responsibilities
- Manage and supervise construction works across civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation disciplines.
- Align construction execution with project schedules, milestones, budgets and approved procedures.
- Coordinate EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors and site teams to meet project objectives.
- Monitor progress, detect deviations and apply corrective or recovery actions when needed.
- Promote and enforce HSE requirements and a strong safety culture on site.
- Review construction methodologies, work packs, method statements and execution plans.
- Manage interfaces between engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and operations.
- Support site readiness, mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up activities.
- Review and validate construction reports, KPIs, productivity metrics and progress measurements.
- Support contract administration, change management, claims evaluation and variation order assessments.
- Ensure correct management of construction documentation, punch lists, red-line markups and as-built records.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Construction Management within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven experience managing large-scale EPC projects, onshore and offshore.
- Solid knowledge of construction methodologies, site execution, commissioning interfaces and project controls.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary construction teams and international contractors.
- Extensive knowledge of international standards and codes (API, ASME, ASTM, IEC) and relevant Oil & Gas regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working directly with Operators, EPC Contractors and PMC/PMS organisations.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
Benefits
The role offers competitive compensation and professional growth opportunities. Salary range: €50,000 – €85,000 per year. The position is governed by the Italian National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Trade and Services sector applied by the company. Salary placement within the indicated range will depend on technical skills, specific experience and selection outcomes based on objective criteria; exceptionally qualified candidates may be considered for a higher salary subject to internal approval.

Requisiti
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field; minimum 10 years in Construction Management within the Oil & Gas industry; proven experience on large-scale EPC onshore/offshore projects; strong knowledge of construction methodologies, commissioning interfaces, project controls and international standards (API, ASME, ASTM, IEC); leadership, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills; experience with Operators, EPC Contractors and PMC/PMS; fluent English.
