Job title: Front Desk Agent – Luxury 5-Star Hotel
Location: Venice (Venezia, VE, Italia)
Salary: €1600 gross per month
Job type: seasonal (until 31st of October)

We are seeking a guest-oriented Front Desk Agent to join the team of a luxury five-star hotel in Venice. In this role you will act as the first contact for discerning guests, delivering warm, professional and discreet service and contributing to a culture of excellence in hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a warm, personalized welcome at check-in and a smooth farewell at check-out.
  • Manage guest reservations, room assignments and special requests with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide prompt, courteous and efficient responses to guest enquiries, including local recommendations and hotel services.
  • Process payments, handle billing queries and keep accurate financial records.
  • Collaborate with Housekeeping, Concierge and other departments to anticipate and meet guest needs.
  • Maintain immaculate presentation standards at the front desk and in the lobby.
  • Use the Property Management System (PMS) to update guest profiles, preferences and stay details.
  • Handle guest concerns or complaints professionally and empathetically, focusing on resolution.
  • Support the Front Office team to ensure operational efficiency and high guest satisfaction.

Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or Guest Services Associate in a hotel or high-end hospitality environment.
  • Fluency in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to connect with guests and anticipate needs.
  • Professional appearance, poise and calm demeanour under pressure.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS) and basic office software.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Precedente esperienza in ruolo analogo in hotel o struttura di alta gamma; fluente in inglese e italiano; conoscenza di PMS e software di base; aspetto professionale; capacità organizzative; disponibilità a turni (serate, weekend, festivi).
