About the location

Our historic Florence hotel offers an urban retreat surrounded by heritage: guests can wander the hotel's large private garden with statues and fountains or relax in fresco-adorned suites. The property features a Michelin-starred Italian restaurant and a locally inspired spa, and is situated close to Florence’s cultural centre.

Role overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic Concierge Intern to join the team starting September 2026 for a six-month full-time internship. The Concierge Intern will assist the Concierge team in anticipating and fulfilling a wide range of guest requests to ensure each stay is smooth and memorable.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and interact with guests delivering the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests where possible.
• Assist guests with enquiries related to hotel services, opening hours, key personnel, in-house events and directions.
• Respond to guest requests accurately and promptly, offering recommendations based on local knowledge and hotel standards.
• Escalate guest complaints to Management in a timely manner.
• Process incoming and outgoing packages, faxes, messages and mail accurately and on time.
• Maintain strong knowledge of local activities, restaurants, museums and attractions to inform guest recommendations.
• Use hotel software to record special arrangements and ensure correct billing.
• Answer and direct internal and external calls in the absence of a Switchboard Operator.
• Support other Front Office tasks when required.

• Attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team approach.
• Reading, writing and spoken proficiency in Italian and English.

Schedule & requirements

The position is a full-time internship beginning September 2026 for a six-month period. Applicants must have valid legal authorization to work in Italy at the time of application.

Requisiti
