Position summary
Inspect rooms and public areas after cleaning to verify that they meet quality standards. Run sold-room reports, confirm room status, identify discrepant rooms, prioritise cleaning tasks and update departure-room statuses. Act as a point of contact to coordinate the activities of Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry, document and resolve any room discrepancies with the Front Desk and communicate room assignment changes and issues to the next shift. Complete required paperwork.
Key responsibilities
- Support management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counselling, disciplining, motivating and coaching housekeeping staff.
- Act as liaison between departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents or injuries and complete relevant safety training and certifications.
- Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
- Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guest needs, assist guests with disabilities and thank guests sincerely.
Physical and operational requirements
- Move, lift, carry and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds (approx. 25 kg) unaided and heavier with assistance; push and pull loaded housekeeping carts over uneven surfaces.
- Reach overhead and below the knees; bend, twist, pull and stoop; stand, sit, kneel or walk for extended periods during a shift.
- Perform fine motor tasks requiring hand-eye coordination; enter and retrieve work-related information using computers and point-of-sale systems; read and verify printed material.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Related experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Supervisory experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- License/Certification: None required.

Requisiti
High school diploma or GED preferred; at least 1 year of related experience and at least 1 year of supervisory experience. Ability to lift up to 55 pounds, perform physical tasks for extended periods and use computers/POS systems. Language required: Italian.
