Position summary
The successful candidate will join the F&B Front department and, together with the other supervisors, will act as the main link between management and operational staff. The role requires working across different shifts and services depending on operational needs. We are seeking someone currently in a similar position with solid experience in comparable businesses, especially within the hospitality sector.
Profile
- Guest-focused with high attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Service-oriented with effective communication, flexibility and adaptability.
- Proactive, shows initiative and possesses excellent organisational and leadership abilities.
- Excellent level of English.
Main responsibilities
- Maintain an on-floor presence and manage front-of-house operations.
- Lead and manage the team during service; organise staffing before, during and after services.
- Manage and coordinate temporary staff in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Handle order management and stock control using the Marriott management system.
- Knowledge of Micros, Opera or other front-of-house order management systems is preferred.
- Know the dishes and be able to describe them to guests; basic knowledge of wines and food-and-wine pairing.
- Compile orders and ensure pantry stock levels are maintained.
- Check and prepare the mise en place for dining room and bar.
- Prepare set-ups for events and banqueting.
- Know and apply HACCP rules.

Requisiti
Currently working in a similar role with solid experience in comparable businesses (particularly hospitality). Excellent level of English. Italian language required.
