Descrizione della Posizione Lavorativa

Location: Naples (NA), Italy. The Group Credit Analyst is part of the Naples Credit Management team and provides support to the Group Credit Controller in all credit-related finance activities to ensure that cash-flow processes (credit control, credit risk, etc.) are correctly applied and monitored according to company standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage credit control activities, liaising with General Sales Agents (GSAs) and cooperating with Markets and Commercial teams to accelerate collections and achieve targets (dunning).
  • Follow up and track payments together with the Accounting Department, respond to GSAs' enquiries and investigate anomalies (differences between invoiced and received amounts).
  • Prepare and deliver receivables analysis and reporting for General Sales Agents.
  • Support the reconciliation of balances between the reservation system and the accounting system.
  • Ensure the correct settings of payment terms are maintained in line with company standards.
  • Control and report on deposit collections and area credit indicators.
  • Analyse and manage credit risk for the area, identifying and monitoring high-risk and watchlist accounts.
  • Manage bad debt: centralise information on customer defaults and calculate provision amounts to be recorded by Accounting according to the Loss Allowance matrix.
  • May participate in other projects, particularly those related to the design of IT reports and SAP deployment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role or in audit / risk consulting.
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts receivable principles.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken); additional European languages are an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office tools, in particular advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or equivalent.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail, ability to multitask, work under pressure and manage stress.
  • Dependable, effective communicator, self-motivated, highly organized and able to work in a team.
  • Availability to business travel.

Right to work in Italy.

Previous experience in a similar role or in audit/risk consulting; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or equivalent; fluent English (written and spoken); right to work in Italy; availability to travel; advanced Excel and good MS Office knowledge; strong accuracy and organizational skills.
