About the role

We are seeking an Enterprise Account Executive – Cyber Security to accelerate business expansion across Italy and selected European markets. The successful candidate will combine strong commercial skills with technology-sector experience, cultivate long-term relationships with corporate and enterprise clients, and uncover new sales opportunities. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership, product teams, and technical experts to promote Ermes solutions and help organizations strengthen their digital security posture.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to grow revenue.
  • Identify, engage and acquire new corporate and enterprise customers across target markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (CIOs, IT Directors, CISOs).
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and contract closing.
  • Work with technical and product teams to position Ermes solutions effectively.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs and competitive dynamics to spot growth opportunities.
  • Develop strategic partnerships and broaden Ermes’ footprint in target segments.
  • Represent Ermes at industry events, conferences and networking activities.

Key requirements

  • 7+ years in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, Account Management or related commercial roles.
  • Proven experience in IT / Technology / Software / Cloud / Managed Services / System Integration / Cyber Security sectors.
  • Strong track record in winning new business and managing strategic customer relationships.
  • Experience engaging with executive-level stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, business mindset and results orientation.
  • Fluent spoken and written Italian and English.
  • Availability to travel across Italy and Europe when required.

Nice to have

  • Previous hands-on experience in Cyber Security.
  • Experience selling security, cloud, networking or enterprise software solutions.
  • Existing network of enterprise contacts and knowledge of the DACH market.
  • German language skills and familiarity with cybersecurity trends, cloud security and digital risk management.

Requisiti

Minimum 7 years in Business Development/Enterprise Sales/Account Management; proven experience in IT/Technology/Software/Cloud/Managed Services/System Integration/Cyber Security; track record of acquiring new business and managing strategic accounts; experience engaging C-level executives; excellent negotiation and communication skills; fluent Italian and English; availability to travel across Italy and Europe.
