Descrizione della Posizione Lavorativa

At Bending Spoons we aim to build enduring digital businesses, operating them long-term while embedding AI into how we work and keeping a flat hierarchy with small, high-impact teams. Working here is an opportunity to learn quickly, contribute meaningfully, and grow your career rapidly.

Key responsibilities

  • Own SOX compliance: lead end-to-end SOX implementation across business processes and IT systems.
  • Lead internal control evaluations: test and assess controls across the organisation, identify gaps and risks, and drive remediation to completion.
  • Drive the annual internal audit plan: design and run audit programs across financial, operational, technology and compliance areas; present findings and remediation recommendations to senior management and the audit committee.
  • Build the internal audit function: help create the function from scratch, shaping methodology, governance and tooling.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships: work closely with external auditors, senior management and the audit committee; translate findings into clear communications and monitor implementation of recommendations.

What we look for

  • Strong reasoning ability: solve complex problems from first principles, structure ideas clearly and focus on the details that matter.
  • Drive: highly ambitious, proactive, tenacious and accountable for your work.
  • Proficiency in English: professional reading, writing and speaking skills.
  • Team spirit: collaborative, humble, reliable and willing to support the best idea, regardless of its source.

What we offer

  • Small, entrepreneurial teams with high autonomy and talented colleagues.
  • An exceptional growth opportunity where strong performers rapidly take on high-impact responsibilities.
  • Competitive compensation: for experienced candidates the annual package in Europe typically ranges between €82,557 and €188,848 (compensation varies by location and expected impact).
  • Extensive benefits including flexible hours, remote work, unlimited learning support, market-leading health insurance, a comprehensive relocation package, generous parental support and an annual company retreat.

Selection process

We prioritise verifiable signals of excellence. If you pass initial screening you may be asked to complete one or more challenging tests that can take several hours. We set a high bar and will only extend an offer when confident we have found the right candidate. Reasonable accommodations are available for applicants with disabilities via a provided form.
