Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Operations Analyst to join the Operations function and report directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). The role supports analysis of business processes, reinforces operational governance and drives cross-functional strategic initiatives, contributing to continuous improvement and M&A integration projects. The ideal candidate has excellent analytical skills, a data-driven approach, strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work effectively with stakeholders across functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational governance & process excellence: analyse and map operational processes to find inefficiencies, bottlenecks and risks; support design and roll-out of governance frameworks, standardisation of procedures and KPIs; monitor performance via dashboards and reports; assess service levels, productivity, profitability and cost efficiency; support vendor governance through cost, SLA and supplier performance analysis; provide quantitative and qualitative insights for strategic decisions and continuous improvement.
  • M&A integration & business analytics: assist the COO in operational due diligence for acquisitions; gather and analyse operational data to detect gaps and synergies; map processes, information systems and KPIs of acquired entities; help define the Target Operating Model and integration roadmaps; monitor milestones, risks and dependencies; prepare comparative reports between current ("As Is") and future ("To Be") models.
  • Cross-functional projects: contribute analytically to strategic projects and task forces; create business cases, forecasting models and impact assessments; collaborate with functional leaders to align processes with strategic objectives; prepare management presentations, KPI dashboards and Steering Committee / Board materials; support change management and organizational transformation.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Qualifications: degree in Management Engineering or related field; minimum 5 years of experience in Operations, Business Analysis, Consulting or Process Improvement; proven experience in managing cross-functional projects; experience in multinational organisations or consulting firms is an advantage.
  • Technical skills: advanced Excel and PowerPoint; experience building management dashboards and reporting; KPI management; familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau or similar); knowledge of process mapping and continuous improvement methodologies; experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics/Navision, SAP or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Soft skills: strong analytical thinking, results orientation, critical thinking and problem solving, attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, strong communication and interpersonal abilities, adaptability and a collaborative mindset.

Reporting line: reports to the Chief Operating Officer (COO).

  • Contract and compensation: CCNL Terziario, Distribuzione e Servizi; salary range €40,000 - €48,000 per year plus bonus.

Requisiti
