Descrizione della Posizione Lavorativa

Epassi aims to enhance everyday well-being and is a leading provider of employee benefit solutions across Europe. Founded in Finland in 2007, the company was the first in Europe to launch a mobile-payable employee benefit payment solution in 2008. Since then Epassi has expanded its offerings and entered new markets, and has been recognised by the Financial Times multiple times as one of Europe’s fastest-growing companies.

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager - Infrastructure to be based in any of Epassi's European locations. In this role you will own the roadmap for the internal and external developer experience, ensuring engineering teams across all Epassi markets can build, deploy and debug with speed and confidence. You will be part of the platform product team and work closely with engineering and infrastructure to deliver the tooling, APIs and platform services that enable Epassi’s products.

Key responsibilities

  • Run discovery with development teams across Epassi countries to identify deployment and debugging friction.
  • Own the platform infrastructure backlog, deciding what is built, for which teams and in what order, with documented rationale.
  • Define developer experience metrics such as deployment frequency, time-to-debug and service onboarding time (in addition to uptime).
  • Own product decisions for the notifications service, email templates, API contracts and the feature-flag service.
  • Write business cases for platform investments and support the Head of Product on strategy.
  • Understand infrastructure concepts (latency, funnels, service architecture) well enough to identify developer friction and translate it into actionable product decisions.

Success criteria

  • Drive adoption over delivery: platform tooling must be actively used by the intended teams.
  • Improve DX metrics: measurable gains in deployment frequency, time-to-debug and onboarding time across pilot teams.
  • Build a trusted backlog so prioritisation decisions are understood across countries and rarely contested.
  • Expand rollouts on schedule with phased expansion from pilots without major adoption failures or rollbacks.
  • Make ownership unambiguous: clear decision logs, versioning policy and responsibility for each platform surface.

Daily activities

  • Lead and guide product development teams to deliver high-value platform features.
  • Define and refine business and technical requirements with stakeholders, balancing value, cost and quality.
  • Maintain a well-prioritised product backlog and collaborate on executable release plans.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives in an agile/Scrum environment.
  • Share insights and best practices to continuously improve innovation processes.

Requirements

  • Relevant technical degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, platform development or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience leading teams or projects in agile/Scrum environments and presenting to senior leaders.
  • Proven product management track record, ideally in a platform or infrastructure context, including backlog management and release planning.

Track record & knowledge

  • Proven experience improving developer experience at scale and managing end-to-end product cycles from discovery through adoption.
  • Background in driving measurable outcomes through data-driven prioritisation and familiarity with agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of AI tools (for example Claude) and how they can support product management workflows and decision-making.

Competency profile

  • Customer-focused: passionate about building secure, scalable products for internal and external users.
  • Analytical rigour: structured, data-driven problem solving with attention to outcomes.
  • Communication & collaboration: ability to align diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: proactive, self-driven and comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-growing environment.
  • Growth mindset.

Location: Verona, Italy (role can be based in any of Epassi's European locations).
