Role overview: You will report to the Head of Department and join the Energy Carriers Business Line within the Materials Engineering Department as the Materials Engineering Lead. You will supervise all the departmental disciplines involved in project development, including materials selection and corrosion, cathodic protection systems, welding and metallurgy and coatings and insulation.

Main responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop and oversee the preparation of technical documentation for Proposals, Executive and R&D Projects, ensuring activities are executed according to contractual requirements, project strategies and timelines;
  • Verify and guarantee the quality of technical solutions and documentation produced by the project team, balancing technical soundness with cost and schedule constraints;
  • Manage relationships with clients and suppliers, acting as technical point of contact and coordinating external technical interfaces.

Required education and experience:

  • Master's degree or Bachelor's degree in materials engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering or materials science;
  • At least 8 years' experience in one or more of the disciplines listed above.

Languages: English at B2/C1 level.

Technical skills: expertise in corrosion, material selection and anticorrosion systems, metallurgy and welding. Prior experience in Oil & Gas, fertilizer plants and low-carbon solutions and familiarity with international standards are preferred.

IT skills: proficient with Office, CAD, Power BI and other main engineering software; comfortable with databases and digital applications.

Mobility: willingness to travel within Italy and abroad for short visits to engineering centers, suppliers or construction sites.

Requisiti

Master's or Bachelor's degree in materials/mechanical/chemical engineering or materials science; minimum 8 years' experience in relevant fields; English B2/C1; technical knowledge of corrosion, material selection, metallurgy and welding; familiarity with Oil & Gas or fertilizer plants and international standards preferred; proficiency with Office, CAD, Power BI and engineering software; willingness to travel internationally.
