Role overview: Reporting to the Head of Department, you will serve as Materials Engineering Lead within the Energy Carriers Business Line. You will coordinate the department areas covering materials selection and corrosion, cathodic protection, welding and metallurgy and coatings and insulation.
Key duties:
- Plan, develop and supervise preparation of technical documentation for proposals, executive design and R&D projects, ensuring tasks meet contractual obligations, project strategies and schedules;
- Verify the technical quality of outputs from the project team while respecting cost and time constraints;
- Manage client and supplier technical interactions and relationships.
Qualifications and experience:
- Degree (Master's or Bachelor's) in materials engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering or materials science;
- Minimum 8 years' experience in one or more of the relevant disciplines;
- English: B2/C1 level.
Technical profile: strong background in corrosion, material selection and anti-corrosion systems, metallurgy and welding. Experience in Oil & Gas, fertilizer plants and low-carbon solutions and knowledge of international standards is a plus.
Digital skills: familiarity with Office, CAD, Power BI and main engineering software; experience with databases and digital tools.
Mobility and working model: willingness to travel in Italy and abroad for short periods; hybrid working model with smart working options and flexible hours.

Requisiti
Degree in materials/mechanical/chemical engineering or materials science; at least 8 years' relevant experience; English B2/C1; strong technical expertise in corrosion, material selection, metallurgy and welding; preferred experience in Oil & Gas, fertilizer plants and low-carbon solutions; proficiency with Office, CAD, Power BI and engineering tools; available for travel.
