We are looking for an experienced and well‑connected Talent Acquisition Specialist to join a growing institute focused on industrial AI. In this strategic role you will locate, engage and attract top‑tier AI engineers, researchers, post‑docs and other scientific professionals — including passive candidates working in leading research centres and corporate R&D departments — to strengthen our world‑class team.

Location

Torino, Italy. Partial remote working can be agreed.

Key responsibilities

  • Proactive talent sourcing & engagement: design and execute advanced sourcing strategies and deep market mapping to identify high‑level AI and scientific professionals in research institutes and corporate R&D.
  • Outreach to the scientific community: be active within academia, research centres, specialist forums and professional associations to develop networks and candidate pipelines.
  • Relationship building & cultivation: develop and maintain long‑term, trust‑based relationships; understand candidates' career goals, research interests and potential future fit.
  • Market intelligence & strategic insight: provide sophisticated analyses on talent availability, compensation and retention strategies within the global AI research landscape.
  • Collaborative & consultative recruitment: work closely with Heads of R&D and the Director as a strategic advisor to define required expertise and shape talent strategy.
  • Selection and hiring: support candidate evaluation, hiring decisions and onboarding activities.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related scientific field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in computer science technology research and development, AI or related scientific R&D, with a focus on identifying and engaging highly specialised technical and scientific candidates.
  • Proven skills in strategic sourcing, market intelligence and building deep professional relationships within AI/ML, Data Science, Robotics or related domains.
  • Strong understanding of career paths, motivations and cultural aspects of researchers and engineers in research settings.
  • Excellent networking, interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal); ability to engage senior professionals.
  • Proficiency with advanced sourcing techniques and professional networking platforms.
  • Fluency in Italian and English (both written and spoken) is essential.

Requisiti
