Pallecon is the reusable container solutions arm of CHEP, supporting manufacturers in moving raw materials and ingredients through sustainable, reusable supply chains across Europe. Using a circular pooling model, the business helps customers reduce waste, increase efficiency and improve operational performance.
We are hiring an Inside Sales Account Manager to remotely look after a portfolio of small and medium-sized customers across Europe. This role blends customer relationship management, commercial support and account growth within an international, fast-paced setting. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring retention, resolving issues and spotting development opportunities within your portfolio.
Main responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts remotely via phone, Microsoft Teams and email.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with customers to ensure retention.
- Support contract renewals and participate in pricing discussions.
- Investigate and resolve customer issues and disputes.
- Monitor account profitability and contribute to forecasting.
- Identify opportunities for growth and lane expansion within accounts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Europe.
Skills and experience we are looking for:
- Fluent in Italian and English; additional European languages are a plus (Dutch is particularly advantageous).
- Background in customer service, account management, inside sales or commercial support.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Customer-focused attitude with good problem-solving ability.
- Ability to prioritise effectively across a large portfolio and work independently in a virtual environment.

Compensation and benefits
Salary (Italy): €43,280 – €56,000 per year plus a 10% annual bonus. The position is classified as Impiegato 1° livello - CCNL Commercio and includes all benefits provided by the CCNL for this level. Additional benefits include:

Requisiti
Fluent Italian and English, experience in customer service/account management/inside sales or commercial support, strong communication and organisational skills, ability to prioritise across a large portfolio and work independently in a virtual environment. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
