Role overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP Functional Analyst - Finance to help define and drive the Finance systems strategy. This role is more than delivery: you will act as a strategic partner to the business, take ownership of complex initiatives and lead transformation across the global SAP Finance landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Advise Finance leadership on system roadmap and digital transformation initiatives.
• Lead end-to-end design and delivery of complex SAP Finance solutions (AP, AR, O2C, GL, Assets, Controlling, Treasury, Tax, etc.).
• Own solution architecture decisions to ensure scalability, compliance and alignment with enterprise standards.
• Drive large-scale process optimisation and transformation programmes across Finance domains.
• Act as primary escalation point for complex issues and cross-functional challenges.
• Define and lead integration strategy across Finance systems to ensure seamless data flow between enterprise applications.
• Guide and mentor team members, promote knowledge sharing and raise team capability.

Required background

• 8–10+ years of extensive SAP Finance (FI/CO) experience in complex, multinational environments.
• Deep expertise across multiple Finance domains with the ability to operate at an architectural level.
• Proven track record leading end-to-end implementations, rollouts or transformation programmes.
• Strong understanding of SAP architecture, integrations and data models (S/4HANA preferred).
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to solve complex business and technical challenges.

Nice to have

• S/4HANA transformation experience.
• SAP Finance certifications.
• Experience with SAP BTP, SAP Analytics Cloud or finance analytics solutions.
• Background in Agile, DevOps or product-oriented delivery models.

Compensation package

The employment framework follows the National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL) for the Metalworking Industry, with an indicative level between B3/A1 and a minimum gross annual salary starting from €39,000.00. The exact level and package will be defined after the selection process based on experience and fit. The total remuneration also includes a variable bonus linked to individual and company targets.

Requisiti
