Our roles go beyond simply providing guests with a clean room and a neatly made bed. Guest Environment Experts are trained across a variety of housekeeping tasks and are accountable for keeping the hotel’s appearance and cleanliness at high standards. They have the autonomy to move within their working area and take the actions necessary to support the guest experience.
Typical responsibilities include fulfilling guest requests, restocking service carts, cleaning guest rooms and public areas, and other tasks that help ensure hotel spaces contribute to an excellent guest stay.
Success in this role depends on a few essential behaviours: maintaining a safe workplace, following company policies and procedures, preserving confidentiality, upholding quality standards, and ensuring that uniform, personal appearance and communications are consistently professional.
The position is physically active: team members will be on their feet and moving for extended periods (standing, sitting or walking) and must be able to perform hands-on tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds (≈23 kg) without assistance. Additional reasonable duties may be requested as needed to deliver outstanding service to guests and support business operations.
