Mission
As Franchise Manager for Italy, you will support the Development team in growing Minor Hotels’ presence in Italy by focusing on franchise and asset‑light expansion models. You will source, evaluate and advance new hotel projects while collaborating with owners, investors and internal stakeholders to facilitate deal execution and pipeline growth.
Key responsibilities
- Development & deal sourcing: proactively identify hotel opportunities across Italy (conversions, rebrands, new builds); build and maintain a pipeline with owners, investors, white‑label operators, brokers and advisors; pursue off‑market and proprietary leads; represent Minor Hotels at industry events to increase deal flow.
- Negotiation & structuring: lead commercial and strategic assessments of franchise prospects; work with Feasibility to evaluate market dynamics, returns and positioning; coordinate with Legal to draft term sheets, negotiate franchise agreements and obtain internal approvals; prepare and present business cases and financial summaries to senior leadership.
- Onboarding & transition to franchise support: coordinate pre‑contract and pre‑opening activities including brand fit, technical alignment and franchise compliance; manage the handover to the SVP Franchise Support and oversee the initial onboarding to ensure the franchise partner understands brand standards, systems and obligations.
- Owner relationship & portfolio growth: act as the main contact for owners during development, negotiation and pre‑opening; provide strategic guidance on brand selection, conversion needs and commercial expectations; identify opportunities for conversions, multi‑property or portfolio deals.
Requirements
- Experience: minimum 5 years in hotel development, investment or hospitality consultancy, with direct interaction with hotel owners, investors or franchise partners.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or business (or equivalent).
- Technical skills: strong understanding of franchising models, hotel development financials (feasibility, investment logic, returns), brand standards and asset‑light operating models.
- Commercial & interpersonal skills: strong negotiation, stakeholder management and relationship building abilities; ability to operate in a fast‑paced commercial environment and drive opportunities from pipeline to signature.
- Languages: high level of English and Italian; additional languages are a plus for international expansion.
Compensation
Gross annual salary starting from €50,000. Final compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience, skills and seniority.

Requisiti
Minimum 5+ years in hotel development/investment/consultancy; Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or business; strong knowledge of franchising and hotel development financials; high level of English and Italian.
