Casa Brera, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Milan (part of Marriott International) is looking for a Chef de Partie – Staff Canteen to join the team.

Reporting to the Executive Sous Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving daily meals for hotel employees in a clean, safe and welcoming environment, ensuring the staff dining area meets high standards of hygiene and quality.

Employment details: this is a full-time role (5 days a week with 2 days off). The estimated start date is in July.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the chef to select and plan the staff canteen weekly menu, ensuring variety and balanced nutrition for employees.
  • Prepare and cook meals following the established menu while maintaining quality and flavour standards.
  • Keep the canteen area, kitchen surfaces and equipment clean and orderly.
  • Ensure correct storage and rotation of food supplies.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen team to guarantee consistent food quality and availability.
  • Adhere to HACCP and internal hygiene procedures.
  • Support general cleaning duties when required.

What you’ll need

  • Previous experience in similar settings (staff canteen, catering services or industrial kitchens).
  • Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • A friendly and professional attitude.

Requisiti

Previous experience in staff canteen/catering/industrial kitchens; solid knowledge of food hygiene and safety; ability to work independently and in a team; flexibility for hours including weekends and holidays; friendly professional attitude.
