Experimental introduced cocktail bar culture in Paris in 2007 and has since developed boutique hotels and innovative bars across Europe and beyond. About Experimental Roma

Experimental Roma will open in October 2026 on Via Ludovisi, near Via Veneto. The hotel, housed in a former bank and redesigned by Rodolphe Parente, celebrates la dolce vita with an elegant and timeless Italian style. The property will include 82 rooms, a restaurant, a bar and a rooftop with a suspended pool offering spectacular views over Rome.

About the job

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager and their assistants, you will ensure high standards of service and handle the following responsibilities:

• Organise the setup of service areas and the dining room;

• Ensure an exceptional guest experience throughout service;

• Advise guests using strong knowledge of the menu and products;

• Deliver professional service: take orders, set tables according to orders, clear and reset;

• Manage your assigned section: replenish bread and drinks, keep tables tidy and clean to maintain a pleasant dining environment;

• Carry out end-of-service duties: clean, organise and prepare for the next service;

• Maintain all areas in optimal condition regarding cleanliness, maintenance and functionality;

• Respect the aesthetic standards set by management (grooming and table presentation).

Your profile

You have proven experience as a Head Waiter or in a similar role, a professional appearance and a dynamic, motivated approach. You demonstrate strong organisational skills, efficiency, team spirit and ease in interpersonal relations. You pay attention to details and respond promptly to guest needs. Knowledge of Micros systems is a plus. You are available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays and can communicate professionally in Italian and English.

Requisiti

Proven experience as a Head Waiter or similar role; professional appearance; strong organisational and interpersonal skills; availability for evenings, weekends and public holidays; professional communication in Italian and English. Knowledge of Micros is a plus.
