Technology / Employee Benefits

Descrizione della Posizione Lavorativa

Epassi's purpose is to boost everyday well-being. We are a leading provider of employee benefit solutions across Europe. Founded in Finland in 2007, in 2008 we launched the first mobile-payable employee benefit payment solution in Europe. Since then we have continually expanded our product range and entered new markets. Epassi has been recognised by the Financial Times multiple times as one of Europe’s fastest-growing companies.

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager - Infrastructure, to be based in any of Epassi's European locations (example location: Verona, VR, Italia), to lead the roadmap for the internal and external developer experience.

Your mission at Epassi

As Senior Product Manager for Infrastructure you will own and prioritise the platform roadmap that enables engineering teams across Epassi markets to build, deploy and debug with speed and confidence. You will be part of the platform product team, working closely with other product managers, engineering and infrastructure to deliver tooling, APIs and platform services that power how Epassi products are built and operated.

Responsibilities

  • Run discovery with development teams across all Epassi countries to identify real deployment and debugging friction.
  • Own the platform infrastructure backlog: decide what to build, for which teams and in what order, with clear documented rationale.
  • Define developer experience metrics such as deployment frequency, time-to-debug and service onboarding time (not only uptime).
  • Own product decisions for the notifications service, email templates, API contracts and the feature flag service.
  • Write business cases for platform investments and support the Head of Product on strategy.
  • Understand infrastructure concepts (latency, funnels, service architecture) sufficiently to identify developer friction and translate it into actionable product work.

Success criteria

  • Drive adoption over delivery: platform tooling is actively used by the teams it was built for.
  • Improve DX metrics: measurable gains in deployment frequency, time-to-debug and onboarding time across pilot teams.
  • Build a trusted, well-understood backlog with transparent prioritisation decisions.
  • Expand rollouts on schedule with phased expansion from pilots without major rollbacks.
  • Make ownership unambiguous: clear decision logs, versioning policy and responsibilities for each platform surface.

What you'll be doing (daily)

  • Lead and guide product development teams to deliver high-value platform features.
  • Define and refine business and technical requirements with stakeholders, balancing value, cost and quality.
  • Maintain a well-prioritised product backlog and create executable release plans.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives in an agile/Scrum environment.
  • Share insights and best practices to continuously improve innovation processes.

What you should bring

  • Relevant technical degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc.) e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, platform development or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience leading teams or projects in agile/Scrum environments and managing product backlogs.
  • Proven track record in product management, ideally in a platform or infrastructure context, and experience presenting to senior leaders.

Your track record

  • Demonstrable experience in platform or infrastructure product management with examples of improving developer experience at scale.
  • Experience managing end-to-end product cycles from discovery through adoption and driving measurable outcomes via data-driven prioritisation.
  • Familiarity with agile/Scrum methodologies and process frameworks.
  • Knowledge of AI tools such as Claude and how they can enhance product management workflows and decision-making.

Competency profile

  • Customer-focused mindset: passionate about building secure, scalable products for internal and external users.
  • Analytical rigour: structured, data-driven approach with strong attention to outcomes.
  • Communication & collaboration: able to align diverse stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: proactive, self-driven and comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-growing environment.
  • Growth mindset and strong stakeholder management skills.
