Overview: As a Product Manager at Quicke you will be responsible for steering the commercial success of our products across the entire product life cycle. You will act as the product champion internally and work closely with customers and other stakeholders.
Your role requires strong teamwork and project management capabilities to align R&D and Sales & Marketing colleagues and to deliver with purpose and urgency. Key activities include initiating new concepts, defining product requirements to guide development projects, launching new products, shaping and executing product strategy, driving revenue through the sales organization, and managing product obsolescence.
Key responsibilities
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the market landscape, competitors and customer needs to inform strategic direction and product positioning that support sustainable growth.
- Create and implement product launch plans in close cooperation with Sales & Marketing.
- Define product positioning, value propositions and value-based sales arguments together with Sales & Marketing to maximize market impact.
- Monitor the performance of newly launched products and assess recent initiatives to enable continuous improvement.
- Actively contribute to new product development and related strategic projects.
- Represent market needs and work closely with the sales organization and customers to improve product offerings, follow-up activities, sales and profitability.
- Support sales-focused strategic tasks such as campaign development and customer recommendations.
- Ensure effective cross-functional coordination among OEM customers, R&D, purchasing, production sites and sales teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field or equivalent experience, with 2–4 years of product management experience.
- Prior experience and a solid understanding of the agriculture and farming industry.
- Strong knowledge of marketing principles, product lifecycle management, product positioning and financial analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, able to adapt materials for different audiences.
- Good organizational skills, flexibility and proven ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
