Role overview
As a Commis de Rang you will assist the restaurant service team to ensure smooth, attentive and efficient dining service. This role is designed to support front-of-house operations and contribute to memorable guest experiences. Note: the list below is not exhaustive and team members are encouraged to help across the operation where needed.
Key responsibilities
- Assist servers by delivering beverages to tables, refilling drinks and meeting guest needs to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Prepare and clear tables efficiently, arranging cutlery, plates and glassware with care.
- Remove used items promptly and keep the dining area orderly and welcoming.
- Work closely with servers and restaurant staff to coordinate service and communicate guest requests or feedback.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in the dining area, including wiping tables, chairs and surfaces.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation protocols at all times.
Qualifications & competencies
- Prior experience as a Commis de Rang is highly recommended.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Italian.
- Strong teamwork, reliability and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by the department.
