As part of Unilever Food Solutions Italy, the UFS Trade Marketing Manager is a senior commercial role responsible for converting strategy into disciplined execution to deliver profitable growth across channels and customers. The position reports to the UFS Head of Country and is a central point for commercial planning, forecasting, pricing and trade investment governance.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead annual commercial planning and implement the sales execution framework to ensure consistent delivery of business priorities.
  • Own the S&OP and forecasting process to align demand, supply and commercial objectives.
  • Drive Net Revenue Management (NRM) across pricing, portfolio transformation, mix management and promotional optimisation.
  • Design and execute customer and channel strategies that maximise profitable growth and return on investment.
  • Use sell-out insights to shape customer plans, improve promotional effectiveness and support sustainable growth.
  • Lead commercial performance reviews to identify opportunities, promote ownership and ensure accountability for results.
  • Enable the sales organisation through advanced analytics, performance dashboards and decision-support tools.
  • Govern commercial investments to ensure disciplined allocation and execution.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Development) to secure flawless execution.
  • Support innovation and renovation projects with strong commercial activation and execution excellence.
  • Build capability and processes to improve route-to-market performance and customer profitability.

Key requirements

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Net Revenue Management and Trade Marketing Investment within the FMCG industry.
  • Proven experience in forecasting, commercial planning and execution.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills, especially in Power BI and Microsoft Excel, able to convert data into actionable route-to-market recommendations.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams and customers.
  • Interest in the food service / food industry.
  • Results-orientation combined with a collaborative and inclusive approach.
  • Fluency in Italian and English.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in foods, beverages or out-of-home channels.
  • Exposure to sales or distribution channels.
  • Experience using AI or analytical programming.
  • International study or work experience.
  • Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing or related field.

Terms & compensation: Full-time – Permanent under the Food Industry Collective Labour Agreement (CNEL Code E012). Salary range: €51,200 – €70,400 gross per year. The exact package and level will be determined based on experience, skills and internal equity. Limited travel to customers is foreseen.

Requisiti

Minimum 5 years in NRM and TMI within FMCG; proven forecasting and commercial planning experience; strong analytical skills (Power BI, Excel); leadership and stakeholder management; interest in food industry; fluency in Italian and English; degree preferred.
