Position: Commercial Operations Manager (UFS)

Purpose of the role
The Commercial Operations Manager translates the country commercial strategy into disciplined execution to deliver profitable growth across channels and customers. Reporting to the UFS Head of Country, this role coordinates the commercial agenda end-to-end — including sales planning, forecasting, pricing and mix, trade investment governance, promotional effectiveness, customer planning and performance management — and is a member of the UFS leadership team to ensure alignment across functions.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the annual commercial planning process and define the sales execution framework.
- Own S&OP and forecasting to align demand, supply and commercial priorities.
- Drive Net Revenue Management using pricing, portfolio transformation, mix management, promotional optimisation and trade investment governance.
- Design and implement customer and channel strategies to maximise profitable growth and ROI.
- Use sell-out insights to refine customer strategies and promotional activities for sustainable profitable growth.
- Conduct commercial performance reviews to identify growth opportunities, build ownership and ensure accountability.
- Enable the sales organisation with advanced analytics, dashboards, insights and decision-support tools.
- Govern commercial investments to ensure disciplined execution and optimal allocation of resources.
- Drive cross-functional alignment for flawless execution of business priorities and accelerate growth.
- Support innovation and renovation through strong commercial activation and execution excellence.
- Build capabilities and processes to improve commercial effectiveness, route-to-market performance and customer profitability.
Key requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in Net Revenue Management (NRM) and Trade Marketing Investment (TMI) within the FMCG / food sector.
- Proven experience in forecasting, commercial planning and execution.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills — proficient in Power BI and Microsoft Excel — able to turn data into actionable route-to-market recommendations.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills; ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and customers.
- Interest in the food industry and a results-oriented, collaborative approach.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in Foods, Beverages or Out-of-Home channels.
- Exposure to sales or distribution channels.
- Ability to use AI or analytical programming.
- International study or work experience.
- Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing or related field.

Requisiti
