We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our Finance team in the heart of Rome. In this role you will ensure accounting processes are handled accurately and efficiently, providing crucial support to local operations and contributing to financial decision-making.

Main responsibilities include:

• Manage sales and purchase invoicing processes (both outgoing and incoming).
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries (First Note).
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
• Prepare and analyse financial reports to support strategic decisions.
• Ensure compliance with local tax rules and company financial policies.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management.
• Assist with daily operations such as credit control and revenue reporting.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable cycles.

Experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in a comparable position.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Desirable: experience in cost controlling, budgeting and forecasting.

Requisiti

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related; minimum 2 years' relevant experience; fluency in Italian and English (note: site tags also list Spanish fluency); eligible to work in the EU; proficiency with accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel). Experience in cost control, budgeting and forecasting is a plus.
