Position summary: We are seeking a Chef de Partie to become part of our kitchen team. The role involves rotating among the various stations and services to gain a comprehensive view of the kitchen operations and to support the Executive Chef in ensuring high quality and efficient service.

Key responsibilities

  • Know and verify raw ingredients, ensuring product quality before use.
  • Master the menu and recipes provided by the Executive Chef and reproduce the dishes consistently.
  • Manage stock and inventory for shifts: check supplies, control waste and communicate ordering needs to the Executive or Sous Chefs.
  • Supervise and coordinate assistant cooks and temporary staff during preparation and service.
  • Collaborate with the team to guarantee efficient service that meets guest expectations and quality standards.
  • Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the working area, in full compliance with HACCP procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and allergen rules and report any critical issues promptly.
  • Assist the Head Chef in creating or updating recipes on the menu.
  • Use and operate main kitchen equipment safely, understanding associated risks and rules of use.

Preferred qualifications

  • Education: Technical school diploma.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Supervisory experience: not required.
  • Certification: HACCP.
